When I was I kid, I used to idolize many individuals wanted to grow and become like them. They had every necessary thing to lead a successful and happy life, that is what I used to think at that time this people`s charm, ambitious, cocky nature attracted me more and more towards them. The lifestyle that they led put me in awe of him wanted to live every bit of it.ME AND MY HEROES.......
This essay is a written context which will describe soo much . . . THE HERO IRON MAN
The suit that he had built, I used to think of it as symbol of that you ought to have something in your life so when in distress you’d get help from it; it’d be your saviour in tough times. But by 2013, Iron Man 3 the movie made me realize the suit was inferior to the person that Tony was it held no power over Tony, in fact Tony’s mind body and soul were the source of all the charisma and energy, the suit was just a product of it.
So eventually the craze for Ironman decreased, and I found a new hero under whom I can seek shelter.
The Dark Knight, made sense he was not just a work of fiction or a character who lived in stories. The teachings of Batman found a place deep within me.The Dark Knight taught us how to overcome fear, he fought against the chaos and then against the gravest of all,’the fear of death’.
In real world it is analogous to fighting against all the evil virtues that we’ve in our minds, over thinking is similar to chaos and to overcome and succeed over it, the first step is in accepting what is present and then finding a way to fight against it.
Bane is a symbol of pain, no matter how hard and deep the pain is you’ll find a way through it, if you’ve the will to live and don’t want to die succumbing to the pain.
These were the things Batman taught me and the most important of all was,
“Why do we fall? So that we can learn to rise again”.
Wait a second ! Doesn’t this line or quote seem to be more inclined towards 1000% optimism , or in other words too good to be true every time.
There will be times when you won’t be able to get up or rise, all you’ll be able to do is to just watch the world change lying down on the floor, hoping that after sometime things will get better or someone will come to help you.
The point of Batman believing in working alone, seems way to absurd now. We always need someone to have our back when we start losing faith from ourselves.
So by the end of the college, I still believed in Batman but his importance also started to decrease.
And my mind started looking for something more relatable, and within months my mind latched itself on the character of LOGAN.
LOGAN old and wounded , I found him more relatable within a year, after stepping into the real world. The gift of Immortality which Logan had as time passed started acting like a curse over him.
The tortured and tormented physically and emotionally soul of Logan, showed what life is…
Not all the time we get what we want, there’ll be times when the near and dear ones will abandon you, you’ll be criticized for your actions and deeds, you’d feel completely alone at such times you’d feel that why are you still breathing ? And you’d experience what LOGAN must have experienced after all that he’d been through and yet he is standing tall ready for another fight.
Life isn’t full of sunshine and rainbows, it is how it is ready to knock you down at every next step, what matters is how you face it, it even doesn’t matter that you don’t want to face the problems and quit because you’ve been cursed by IMMORTALITY you won’t die so easily.
So it is better to face the problem with a smile on a Face like LOGAN…
“Ain’t no grave, that can hold my body down”
